چکیده

Abstract. The nonadiabatic transition probabilities in the two-level systems are calculated analytically by using the monodromy matrix determining the global feature of the underlying differential equation. We study the time-dependent 2×2 Hamiltonian with the tanh-type plus sech-type energy difference and with constant off-diagonal elements as an example to show the efficiency of the monodromy approach. The application of this method to multi-level systems is also discussed.

Electronic Density-Matrix Algorithm for Nonadiabatic Couplings in Molecular Dynamics Simulations

Closed expressions for nonadiabatic couplings are derived using the collective electronic oscillators (CEO) algorithm based on the time-dependent Hartree–Fock equations. Analytic derivatives allow the calculation of transition density matrices and potential surfaces at arbitrary nuclear geometries using a molecular dynamics trajectory that only requires a CEO calculation at a single configurati...

Local monodromy of p-adic differential equations: an overview

This primarily expository article collects together some facts from the literature about the monodromy of differential equations on a p-adic (rigid analytic) annulus, though often with simpler proofs. These include Matsuda’s classification of quasiunipotent ∇-modules, the Christol-Mebkhout construction of the ramification filtration, and the Christol-Dwork Frobenius antecedent theorem. We also ...

Estimation of PC-MRI Pressure Map Using Integral Form of Governing Equations and Spline Segments

In this paper, the boundary-based estimation of pressure distribution in the cardiovascular system is investigated using two dimensional flow images. The conventional methods of non-invasive estimation of pressure distribution in the cardiovascular flow domain use the differential form of governing equations. This study evaluates the advantages of using the integral form of the equations in the...

A necessary condition in the monodromy problem for analytic differential equations on the plane

In this paper we give a very easy to compute necessary condition in the monodromy problem for all singular point of analytic differential systems in the real plane. Our main tool is considering the analytic function, angular speed, and studying its limit through straight lines to the singular point. 2000 AMS Subject Classification: 34C05, 34C20, 34C35, 58F21
